In the recent publication, Spiritist Review – Journal of Psychological Studies – 1858, by the United States Spiritist Council, which is the compilation of all of Allan Kardec’s Spiritist Review magazines for the year 1858, there is a series of questions for the spirit of the French King, known as St. Louis. He was Louis IX, who reigned as King of France from 1226 until 1270. Read More.
Fate, what is it? How is your fate determined?
We must remember that we are immortal souls. Our bodies are only temporary encasings, design to facilitate our required courses for advancement on earth. Those who are slated to cast off their temporary coverings in a catastrophe, only met their end at the time that was planned for them. All will come back, in a new body, in new circumstances, in their next life. Click here to watch my YouTube video.
The Romans had brought much advancement, the concept of the family, active citizen participation, the importance of education, honor in business dealing, and organizational structure of institutions and in building infrastructure, to the ancient world. The Spirit world wished to save these gifts; therefore they attempted to rectify the errors of Rome with the coming of Christ, during Augustus’s reign. The advent of Christ and his followers could not right the ship, Emmanuel comments about the fall of Rome;
“The weakness and impenitence of human beings did not allow them to understand that Christianity had been called to the role of governance solely to educate the sentiments of those who governed, preparing them to take enlightenment and fraternity to the other people’s of the earth, who, at the time were regarded as barbarians by the culture of the Empire” (On the Way to the Light, 2011, p. 138).
The Reason for the Dark Ages
“ The spiritual authorities, under Christ’s aegis, renewed the educational processes of the European world – at the time just starting today’s civilization – by calling all human beings to life in the field so that, by tilling the soil and being in contact with nature, they could learn more effectively” (On the Way to the Light, 2011, p. 149).
As with people who sin, the payment comes due at some future time. The Dark Ages was payback for the cruelty of the Roman Empire.

What is our goal? In Spiritism, the Doctrine states that we live through multiple lives to become a higher or pure spirit. What does it mean to be a pure spirit? Leon Denis, who has communicated with the spirit world, tells us, as well, as hints into the realm of a pure spirit from other books psychographed by Francisco C. Xavier. Read More.
The spirit world is concerned with each and every one of us. Our guardian angels take no pleasure seeing us struggle, since they have all been there before. Even though, they comprehend that most times we need the suffering presented to us. But within the confines of letting us survive and learn from our trials, the spirit world actively guides and helps us. Read More.
A member of our Spiritist Facebook group, Spiritism and the Spirit World Around Us, (please join!) pointed us to where there is one of Leon Denis’s books in PDF format.
First a little bit about Leon Denis, straight from Wikipedia:
Léon Denis (January 1, 1846 – March 12, 1927) was a notable spiritist philosopher, and with Gabriel Delanne and Camille Flammarion, one of the principal exponents of spiritism after the death of Allan Kardec. He lectured throughout Europe at international conferences of spiritism and spiritualism, promoting the idea of survival of the soul after death and the implications of this for human relations. He is known as the apostle of French spiritism.
Also, if you read the book, Memoirs of a Suicide, by Yvonne A. Pereira, you will read in the preface that the spirit of Leon Denis assisted her in organizing the book. The book was published in 1955 and Denis died in 1927. Hence, once more proving that if you are a Spiritist, after you die, you are put to work right away!

Spiritism, the Third Revelation, brought to us by The Spirit of Truth, as promised by Jesus in the New Testament, tells us that we are born on earth to live through a series of trials. Trials determined by ourselves, in concert with our spirit mentors, to atone for past wrongs and to remove blemishes from our spirit character on our way to become a pure spirit.
While our attitudes and choices within trials are up to us, as dictated by the promise of free-will for all souls, the formation of the obstacles placed in front of us is for the most part static. In rare instances, the details of trials may be altered, but overall, what was written will occur. Read More.
In the book, Jesus in the home, in Chapter 24 – The Signs of a Renewal, Jesus speaks about what our world will be like when the people of our planet become in tune with the Divine Kingdom. I believe our Christ is providing us a glimpse into what a world of regeneration may be like.
Here is what he says;
“When the Divine Kingdom is at the gates of humankind, the soul of the world will be renewed.” … Read More.
At the end of the day we all know there is no giving up, there is no abandoning ship, no disappearing from our responsibilities. Emmanuel, the spirit guide to Francisco (Chico) C. Xavier tells us that we need to work in order to evolve. Without growth and change we are stagnate.
“On every occasion that we feel compelled to desert from serving, alleging failures and imperfections, it is convenient to observe the logical lessons from Nature, which finds in work its own path to evolution and improvement. – Read More
