There is a series of messages from the Apostle Paul in this website. The entire content is interesting and should be read. But, one of the saddest, is when Paul recounts how he listened to a speech given to a group of spirits who would no longer be allowed to incarnate on earth, due to their adverse actions and attitudes. Here is the text: Read More.
We Spiritists, are taught that we must pay in this life or the next for the wrongs we have committed. But for suicide, the payment is immediate. In Andre Luiz’s first book, Nosso Lar, psychographed by Francisco C. Xavier, published in 1944, Andre dies and is sent to;
“Actually, I felt like a prisoner trapped behind dark bars of horror. With my hair on end, my heart pounding, and scared stiff, I often cried out like a madman. I begged for mercy and clamored against the painful despondency that had taken hold of my spirit. But when my loud cries didn’t fall on an implacable silence, they were answered by lamenting voices even more pitiful than my own. At other times, sinister laughter rent the prevailing silence. I thought that some unknown companion out there was a prisoner of insanity. Diabolical forms, ghastly faces, animal-like countenances appeared from time to time, increasing my panic. When it wasn’t pitch dark, the landscape seemed to be bathed in a lurid light as if shrouded in a thick mist that was warmed from afar by the rays of the sun.” [Nosso Lar, 2010, p.17]
In the book, Memoirs of a Suicide, a spirit is introduced, who in one of his previous lives, was one of the children welcomed by Jesus when, he said, “Let the little children come to me, because the kingdom of heaven is theirs…”
In the book, In the Greater World, inspired by Andre Luiz and psychographed by Chico Xavier, there is a scene where a very high spirit comes to the aid of a discarnated spirit who was murdered. He had been persecuting his murderer for over twenty years. The high spirit, a woman, tried to reason with him to drop his useless obsession and forgive. When the man told of the injustice and suffering, she responded; Read More.
Various spirits came to the Rev G. Vale Owen in his years of recording communications from the other side. His mother came first, then other spirits, from higher levels than his mother, initiated conversations: Castrel, Astriel, Zabdiel, and Arnel.
They all agreed on how they would describe the different levels of heaven circling the earth. They were quite explicit in saying that their numbering system was not universal or perfectly accurate – only that it provided a good approximation of the steps of paradise. Read More.
“At every age, in the beginning, the High Ones, so we are told, take counsel. Results accruing from sometime ages are gathered and laid before them. Those of ages very ancient are rehearsed in tabulated form and briefly. Those of the nearer ages are given in greater detail. Those of the ages last past in full. These are considered in their bearing upon events at that time proceeding on earth. Then the cognate planets have their hearing, and next both earth and them together. So the Council gets agait, and, with no hurry, comes at such conclusion as, when put into operative form for the next age, will be harmonious with the acts of other Hierarchies who have in charge the guidings of planets other than this of earth.” Read More.
In the book, In the Greater World, Andre Luiz was having a discussion about mediums who would say things that were probably from their own mind instead of the spirit who was communicating. Andre’s instructor explained why this could occur, through no fault of either party. Read More.
Who are we, what do we feel when we just pass over from the physical to the spiritual realm? The transition is difficult for many. We are told about the complexities of adjusting by the Reverend Owen’s mother, who communicated to him in his book, which is a collection of four of his books, Life Beyond the Veil, in The Lowlands of Heaven section. She tells us about one person who is experiencing the learning curve: Read More.
In the book, Hail Christ!, dictated by the spirit Emmanuel to Francisco C. Xavier, there are passages on what the early church was like for the first Christians. The book is set around 200 AD, the Emperor Caracalla had just died, in 217 AD. Christians were still being persecuted. There was, as yet, no organized Bible, only various writings by disciples and others. Read More.
