Many religions believe in reincarnation, but why does Spiritism believe in it? Spiritism considers the early Christians also professed knowledge about our souls reincarnating, but this belief dissipated over the centuries after Christ. Spiritism renews the teachings of Christ and supplements them with the revelations promised to us. Read More.
What is your destiny? Is your destiny fixed or do you have freewill?
“The clear and precise idea that one holds of the future life provides an unshakable faith in the future. This faith carries enormous consequences for the moralization of human beings, because it completely changes the point of view from which they consider earthly life. For those who through their thought place themselves in the spirit life, which is limitless, corporeal life is no more than a passage, a brief stay in an ungrateful country. The vicissitudes and tribulations of life are no more than incidents which they bear with patience because they know that they are only of short duration, and that they must be followed by a happier state. Death no longer has anything terrifying about it and it is no longer a door to nothingness, but rather the deliverance that opens to the exile the entryway to a dwelling place of happiness and peace. Knowing they are in a temporary , not final situation, they accept the worries of life with more indifference, which results in a composure of spirit that mitigates their afflictions.”
Allan Kardec says it so well; once we fully comprehend the reason we are on earth and the fact it is but one episode in our life, we should calmly accept what comes and learn from it, not excessively worry about our situation. Since all that we are going through now is but a slight moment of time.

At the end of the day we all know there is no giving up, there is no abandoning ship, no disappearing from our responsibilities. Emmanuel, the spirit guide to Francisco (Chico) C. Xavier tells us that we need to work in order to evolve. Without growth and change we are stagnate.
“On every occasion that we feel compelled to desert from serving, alleging failures and imperfections, it is convenient to observe the logical lessons from Nature, which finds in work its own path to evolution and improvement. – Read More

We all want to know the future. If we had our way we would get a display of the events that will occur to us every day and be secure in our knowledge of the future. But what would happen if on that screen it says at three p.m. you will die today? Your first act would be to change all of your plans, some may lie in bed waiting, and others flee to the farthest ends of the earth. Whatever the case, your normal routine and trajectory would be altered and the sequence of events that would have led to your death would have to change to in order to come to the same end or it could result in a different finish. “Know you, therefore, you who dwell in one of the uttermost of these Spheres, that such duties as are assigned to you have all been worked out as to their class, and the end to which they tend, by those who dwell in realms far above you. These schemes of allotted service are transmitted downward until they reach you, and are made known to you sometimes in one manner, sometimes in another, and to one more plainly, and to another less watchful, not so plain. Nevertheless, all who run the race of the earth-life may read the scroll if he choose, and persevere still to will that light be vouchsafed to him as to what his life shall be and to what end he has been guided.” – Read More.
In our culture, our mythology so to speak, when one thinks of the powerful Lords of Hell, a vision of a twisted devil emerges who personifies evil. Eternal evil. According to Spiritism, no spirit ignores the light forever, it may just seem so. Read More.

The spirits tell us that one could summarize the Doctrine of Spiritism as the Golden Rule. If you always follow the dictum, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, you have achieved the lion’s share of what the spirit realm, and Jesus himself, have been trying to teach us for the last two or three thousand years. The problem is the majority of people ask themselves, why should I follow the Golden Rule? It may make my conscience feel serene, for a moment or two, but it sure as heck doesn’t put food on the table. Ignoring it put lots of food on the proverbial table and other luxuries as well.
