Mediums attract spirits who are attuned to them and vice versa

In the RealmsIn the book, In the Realms of Mediumship, psychographed by Francisco (Chico) C. Xavier, and dictated to him by Andre Luiz, there is a discussion about mediums.

The lecturer tells the group that minds on different levels will, by their inherent gap of knowledge, will be able to communicate only simple messages. He supplies an example of a high spirit talking to a primitive mind. Where the high spirit could only assist a primitive person in terms helping them cure an illness or problems with a herd of cattle.

The same for low spirits talking to an educated medium, only simple communication is possible. He goes on to explain to the group:

“We attract spirits who are attuned to us as much as we are attuned to them. And if it is true that each one of us can only give according to what he or she has, it is unquestionable that each receives according to what he or she gives.” [2011, p.16]

Hence, a medium who is advanced spiritually will attract and successively communicate with higher order spirits.

He elucidates further:

“Since the mind is the basis for all mediumistic manifestations in whatever ways they are spiritexpresses, it is crucial that we enrich our thought with moral and cultural treasures because they are the only treasures that make it possible to fixate the light that descends upon us from the Highest Realms through the spirits of wisdom and love who oversee our lives.” [2011, p. 16]

Increasing spirituality for a medium causes a beneficial feedback loop. As the medium improves, so Explore-Small-front-coverdoes the communication with the higher level spirit. Which leads to greater knowledge and understanding of the spirit world and our place within it.
