“If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”
Alternate translation: “You cannot be my disciple, unless you love me more than you love your father and mother, your wife and children, and your brothers and sisters. You cannot come with me unless you love me more than you love your own life.”
What does this mean as interpreted by Spiritism? One may read this verse with clarity given the information about the spirit universe and the hierarchy of spirits which have been revealed to us by Spiritism.
