Luke 14:34-35
34 “Salt is good, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?
35 It is of no use either for the soil or for the manure pile. It is thrown away. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Salt: a preservative, which enhances the taste of food. If salt loses it effect, then why use it? After all, salt is meant to improve flavor.
Spirituality is the same. It is an added ingredient in one’s life. Meant to enhance the perspective of life, to give life meaning and hope. Spirituality should be a welcomed part of the daily routine.
